Claudia represents HME clients in a variety of legal matters, including Environmental & Toxic Torts, Sex Abuse, and Medical Malpractice & Nursing Home. Claudia is admitted to practice law in Illinois, Indiana, and Missouri. Claudia’s background from her clerkship and judicial externships in state and federal court informs her awareness of civil procedure and the importance of clear and concise legal writing and thoroughly researched legal issues. In addition, her legal experience working with a variety of clients on cases, including those involving sex abuse, has sharpened her ability to adapt to the needs of her clients and ensure their stories are heard and translated into legal results. She works with a dedicated team of HME attorneys to bring that vision to light. Claudia’s goal is to make sure her clients understand their legal rights and options and to pave a way for HME to deliver results to them.
Claudia graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts double major in International Studies-Global Security and French. She graduated from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2022 and earned a Certificate in Advocacy. In law school, she was a Torts tutor for Carmen Gonzalez, Morris I. Leibman Professor of Law, a position that involved an in-depth understanding of the nuances of areas such as negligence, product liability, and intentional torts, and the ability to assist 1L students in understanding those concepts. Claudia also was an oralist and brief writer on Loyola’s Moot Court teams and was a Quarterfinalist in the National Moot Court Competition in Child and Welfare Law. She received a CALI Excellence For The Future Award for excellent achievement in the study of Legal Writing III. In addition to her judicial externships, she also clerked at a personal injury law firm during law school and gained experience drafting motions and reviewing discovery documents. Prior to joining the firm in 2024, Claudia served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Ronald F. Bartkowicz of the Circuit Court of Cook County, where she refined her legal writing and analytical skills.
Claudia is a city girl at heart. She was born and raised in Chicago and enjoys going to the lake, trying new restaurants in the city, and Pilates.
