Imonica D. Jennings joined Hart McLaughlin & Eldridge in September 2025, bringing over 15 years of diverse litigation experience. She manages HME’s Medical Malpractice & Nursing Home and general liability cases. She has supported attorneys across a wide range of practice areas, including catastrophic personal injury, complex trucking litigation, products, premises, insurance and general liability defense, appellate, subrogation, workers’ compensation, bankruptcy and contracts law.

Before joining HME, Imonica worked with several respected Chicago law firms, managing complex cases from intake through trial, playing a key role in achieving favorable outcomes for clients. She is known for her strong work ethic, composure under pressure, and collaborative spirit balancing precision with empathy, knowing that behind every case is a person depending on the work being done well.

Imonica holds a Master of Jurisprudence/J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, a Master of Public Policy from Roosevelt University and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Chicago State University.

Originally from West Palm Beach, Florida, Imonica moved to Chicago in 2001 and has called it home ever since. Outside of work, she loves traveling the world, discovering new cultures, and creating memories with her college-aged daughter and two dogs. In her downtime, you’ll often find her reading a good book, trying new restaurants and enjoying time with friends – always ready for her next adventure.
