Mackenzie Prince, Associate Attorney

Mackenzie is an associate attorney who primarily represents HME clients in mass torts litigation including Product Liability, Pharmaceutical Drugs, and Medical Devices claims. She also handles Medical Malpractice & Nursing Home and Premises Liability matters.

Mackenzie earned her J.D. from the University of Illinois Chicago. While attending law school, she obtained an Illinois Supreme Court Rule 711 license and worked as a student attorney in the UIC Pro Bono Litigation Clinic. Putting her legal skills to work, she represented clients in domestic relations, criminal record relief, and foreclosure matters. Mackenzie was a staff member and Productions Editor on the UIC Law Review and published her own law review article in September 2022. Before joining HME in 2023, Mackenzie worked as a law clerk at a Chicago plaintiff’s firm where she gained valuable litigation skills in the areas of mass torts, medical malpractice, and personal injury litigation.

Mackenzie grew up in Indiana before moving to Chicago to pursue and receive her undergraduate degree from Loyola University Chicago, where she studied Advertising and Public Relations and Political Science. In her free time, Mackenzie enjoys hanging out with her family and friends, working out, reading, and curating the perfect playlist.
