Morgan Forbes, Paralegal

Morgan serves as a key investigative and litigation paralegal at Hart McLaughlin & Eldridge, focusing on some of the firm’s most active practice areas, including civil rights and wrongful conviction matters. With a passion for justice and a sharp investigative mindset, she supports attorneys in complex cases that demand both compassion and precision. Morgan’s ability to navigate complex factual scenarios and uncover essential evidence is integral to the firm’s mission of fighting for those wrongly accused or deprived of their rights. She is driven by a commitment to fairness, accountability, and the belief that every person deserves access to justice. In her wrongful conviction work, she views her role as part detective, part storyteller—tying together disparate threads of fact to help expose the truth.

Morgan earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science (with a minor in Criminal Justice) from Indiana University in 2017. Prior to joining HME in 2020, she worked in the personal injury space, where she honed her skills in document review, witness coordination, and fact gathering.

Originally from Saginaw, Michigan, Morgan now calls Chicago home. She treasures visits to both Traverse City and Detroit, Michigan, where she spends time with friends and family.
