Heather earned her BSBA in Business and Law with a focus in Accounting from the University of Tulsa, and law degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law through the accelerated pre-law scholars’ program. While earning her degrees, Heather was a member of the American Inns of Court and was sworn in by Justice Kane of the Oklahoma Supreme Court as a legal licensed intern. Heather used this license to assist her supervising attorney in providing consistent and strong advocacy for his clients involving a wide variety of areas of law. In her spare time, Heather used her license to volunteer at Legal Aid in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she provided free legal services to eligible low-income and senior citizens. Prior to earning her license, Heather worked as a legal assistant at a Tulsa personal injury law firm for three years while earning her degrees.
Heather externed at a personal injury firm in Chicago for the duration of her last semester of law school (otherwise known as a “semester-in-practice”), which gave her the opportunity to connect with the community prior to graduation.
Heather is a Lake Forest native, which is where she currently resides with her dog and two cats. Although, she is a city girl by heart and aims to be in Chicago soon.
