Laura Milner is an experienced attorney who currently focuses her practice on complex civil matters, including mass torts and civil rights litigation.
Before joining HME, Laura was a public defender for the office of lake county where she represented clients in both misdemeanor and felony criminal matters. During her time as a PD, she was able to gain extensive litigation experience and tried numerous cases in front of judges and juries. In addition to arguing on behalf of clients at bond hearings, sentencing hearings, and pre-trial motions, Laura routinely negotiated favorable outcomes for her clients. She understands that each case presents its own unique challenges and requires careful analysis in order to develop the best strategy.
Laura graduated from DePaul University College of Law in 2018. She is a member of the Illinois Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, and resides in Chicago.
