Mateo is a paralegal who currently focuses on asbestos litigation. He is experienced in matters involving civil rights, prison reform, disability advocacy, and class actions.
Mateo graduated from the University of Chicago on the Dean’s List with a double major in political science and history. During his time at UChicago, he was a resident assistant and founded a Spanish program at a local elementary school.
Mateo is from the Southside of Chicago and has also lived in San Francisco. In his free time, he enjoys coaching and playing soccer, as well as playing volleyball, basketball, and taking road-trips.
